The Yankees continued to carry in potential depth pitching choices by signing righty Drake Fellows to a minor-league pact Friday, The Post’s Jon Heyman reported.
Fellows, 27, spent 4 seasons in the Pirates group and topped out at Triple-A last season, when he pitched both as a starter and reliever and posted a 4.41 ERA.

He was higher out of the bullpen, when he pitched to a 3.86 ERA with 35 strikeouts in 30 ⅓ innings. Fellows typically led with a low-90s sinker, but his greatest pitch is a slider that generated a whiff on over half the swings from opposing batters.
The massive righty, who is listed at 6-feet-5, 216 kilos, becomes another option-able arm who will attempt to work his approach to The Bronx.
The Yankees have been busy including such fliers just lately, signing righty Bradley Hanner on Thursday and choosing Rule 5 choose Cade Winquest on Wednesday.
