The 2024 season could not have gotten off to a higher begin for Jets cornerback Michael Carter II.
Just before the common season started, the Jets signed Carter to a three-year, $30.75 million contract extension, making him the highest-paid nickel nook in the league. But the good vibes did not last lengthy for Carter.
An ankle damage suffered during coaching camp hampered Carter early in the season and then just as he began to get well from that damage, he felt ache in his leg during pregame warmups in Week 5 against the Vikings in London.
It turned out that the ache was being brought on by a herniated disc in his back.
