The happiest place on Earth now comes with a much bigger price tag for parkgoers.

Disney quietly jacked up ticket prices this week – pushing its coveted 1-Day “Park Hopper” pass past a whopping $300 for peak weekends.

While the multi-park pass is advertised at $280, mandatory fees and an extra $18.40 tax make the checkout total $301.40.

To make matters worse, entry remains subject to capacity limits – meaning the hefty ticket doesn’t even guarantee you’ll get in.

Even basic single-day, single-park tickets have pushed past the $200 mark. .

In Tuesday’s price hike, the “Incredi-Pass” annual pass was boosted by $120 to $1,749. The Incredi-Pass is the only pass for non-state holders and allows users to hold up to 5 rolling theme park reservations at a time (plus additional reservations for each day of an on-site Disney hotel stay).

Meanwhile, top-tier single-day passes climbed $10 to $229, and VIP line-skipping “Lightning Lane” passes surged $50 to $499.

Off-peak single-day entry for Animal Kingdom still starts around $120, but weekend tickets now hit $179 or more – climbing over $190 after tax.

Multi-park peak tickets at Disney World are on track to stay above the $300 threshold through 2027.

To soften the blow, Disney is experimenting with an AI bot on its site to help deal-hunters find bargain dates, prompting visitors with options like “What are the cheapest dates to visit?,” USA Today reported.

Out west at Disneyland California, mid-tier and park-hopper tickets are rising by $5 to $10. On a rare bright note, the absolute cheapest one-day ticket stays frozen at $104, where it has been since 2019.

Newly posted rates for the 2027 holiday season reveal that a single-day ticket to Magic Kingdom on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve 2027 will hit $229 – up from $209 this year and $219 for previously released 2027 dates.

Annual passes across the board took a hit: Disney World raised the Florida-resident Pixie Dust Pass by $10 and the Pirate Pass by $40, The Sorcerer Pass (for Florida residents and Disney Vacation Club members) was also raised by $40. The all-access Incredi-Pass, open to all guests, saw the biggest jump at $120.

“The middle to low income working class needs to wise up – the way things are right now, these companies DO NOT NEED US,” ranted on Reddit user. “There are enough people doing well to keep them going. Basically, this stuff is no longer for “regular” folks but for people who are affluent.”

“I love going to the parks, but it’s getting insane,” said another user, who I flies down from Northern California and priced out ONE day for two people (flight, 2 nights at a mid range hotel, park tickets with park hopper and lightening lane for day) and it was about $2,000. “That’s before Ubers, food, merch.”

Bargain-seeking families can still scope out calendar pricing on Disney’s site to find the least expensive weekends available.
