At least 4 NFL beginning quarterbacks Sunday can be taught a lesson from fictional character Jonathan Moxon.
The Brown University-bound insurgent who turned down whipped-cream advances from lovely girls didn’t strive to imitate star jock Lance Harbor when Harbor’s damage bumped Moxon from backup quarterback to starter in the high-school soccer basic “Varsity Blues.”
Just like Jake Browning shouldn’t strive to be Joe Burrow as he steps into a three-month job piloting the undefeated Bengals while the MVP hopeful Burrow recovers from toe surgical procedure.
“He’s done it before — come off the bench and won games [4-3 in 2023]. So those guys know they need to raise their level of play to help him out, but they also know they can win with him,” Jim Miller, co-host of SiriusXM NFL Radio’s “Movin’ the Chains,” instructed The Post.
