Nelly and Ashanti have weathered all storms and are now putting their love on display in season two of their hit Peacock series We Belong Together.

After their first season sparked tons of debates—from Nelly’s aversion to the demands of fatherhood to Ashanti’s return to the stage after giving birth to the former’s decision to perform for Trump—the pair are back with another jam-packed bunch of hijinx for their fans.
In season two, Nelly and Ashanti are still navigating the deep waters of being in-demand musicians while balancing the responsibilities of their family life. Despite still concealing their son’s full identity, the pair are opening up about what it takes to be present for him while also bringing home the bacon by taking stage on separate tours.
Fans of the show were surprised to find that Ashanti and Nelly hadn’t made an official move to either his home base of St. Louis or hers of New York, despite their marriage and young son, and it seems the two are still sorting out their geographical distance in season two. The “Foolish” singer will also let her fans in on the process of re-recording her debut album in an effort to retain her masters while continuing to collaborate with new talent.
For Nelly, the season sees him trying to decide whether he has the stamina to continue touring after twenty years of his career and whether his time away from home is taking on a toll on his family life. A press release from the Newark also says that the St. Louis rapper and his family suffered an unexpected loss that helps him put his priority’s in perspective. Despite their busy schedules, Nelly and Ashanti are still showing all of their teeth whenever they’re around one another and seem locked in for a lifetime of love together.
