The Jets lost 26-19 to the Patriots on Sunday to fall to 2-4 this season. Here are some ideas and observations from the recreation:
1. When we look back at the Aaron Glenn tenure some day, the first second where I think a lot of us started to surprise about him came in London last yr when he mismanaged the finish of the first half in a loss to the Broncos. Since then, Glenn has cleaned some issues up but one factor stays a weak spot for the Glenn Jets: they stink at the finish of the first half.
It was on show again Sunday as the Patriots scored 10 factors in the ultimate two minutes of the first half and the Jets scored none. The Jets have been outscored 20-0 at the finish of the first half this season and they have been outscored a staggering 100-6 in Glenn’s 23 video games as head coach.
100-6!
