Could a reconciliation be on the horizon for The Real Housewives of Atlanta stars Porsha Williams and Shamea Morton Mwangi? Porsha isn’t exactly spilling the tea, but her latest response has fans wondering whether the longtime friends could rekindle their once-tight, City Girls-style sisterhood—or if it’s time to call it quits for good, PERIOOODT!

On Oct. 24, while walking the red carpet at Bravo Fan Fest, Williams was asked by Dee of The Neighborhood Talk whether she would be open to receiving a “Dear JT”-style song from Morton. The question referenced Yung Miami’s recently released track “Dear JT,” in which the rapper expresses a deep desire to reconcile with her former City Girls groupmate JT and repair their friendship.

Rather than giving a direct answer about whether she and Morton could work things out, Williams offered a telling response.

“No comment,” she said.

Whether Williams was hinting that she wants Morton to make the first move—or simply acknowledging the similarities between the two situations—remains unclear.

Porsha compared herself to JT inside Bravo Fan Fest.

The possibility of a reunion also comes as the RHOA cast continues filming Season 18. Earlier this month, a throwback video, shared by their co-star Drew Sidora, featuring Williams and Morton together sparked questions among fans about whether the former best friends might be finding their way back to each other.

Drew also appeared to call for a truce, seemingly extending an olive branch to both Porsha and Shamea. She and Shamea had their fair share of clashes throughout Season 17, but Drew hinted at wanting to put the drama behind them, writing that she missed “how things used to be.”

“Always praying for healing & memories last a lifetime,” she added.

After seeing the posts, one fan raised the possibility of a rekindled friendship inside Bravo Fan Fest, wondering whether things had started to thaw behind the scenes between Porsha and Shamea.

Well, Porsha kept things vague, telling the crowd member:

“I’m the JT of it all,” according to a video obtained by Diary of Clay on Oct. 24.

More on the flip!

How Porsha Williams and Shamea Morton’s Friendship Fell Apart.

As previously reported, Williams and Morton’s once-close friendship reached a major turning point during the Season 16 reunion in 2025, when the two revealed they were no longer speaking. Since then, their fallout has continued to play out both on and off camera, with social media exchanges and subtle jabs keeping fans invested in the drama.

The cracks in their relationship became increasingly apparent during Season 16, when Angela reportedly brought Williams’ attention to things Morton had allegedly said behind her back. The conversation exposed years of resentment, with Morton expressing concerns that Williams had never genuinely supported her becoming a full-time Housewife. She also shared her fear of being viewed as nothing more than Williams’ sidekick.

But their issues extended well beyond their Bravo careers. Morton also revisited the hurt she felt when Williams missed her 2017 wedding to husband Gerald Mwangi in Kenya, revealing that the disappointment had stayed with her for years.

By Season 17, the tension had escalated further during the cast’s time in Scotland.

One point of contention involved Williams’ decision not to allow her daughter, Pilar, to spend time at the home Morton shares with Mwangi. Morton was hurt that their personal feud had seemingly begun affecting their children, while Williams stood firm in her decision, saying she would not put her daughter around someone she believed had negative intentions toward her.

The disagreement then circled back to Morton’s belief that Williams had discouraged her from securing a full-time role on RHOA. As the argument intensified, the women brought their families into the conversation, revisiting longstanding tensions involving their mothers and making explosive allegations that further damaged their already strained bond.

With so much history between them, repairing the friendship may take more than a public gesture—or a song.

Is Shamea Morton Open to Making Peace?

Despite the ongoing tension, Morton has suggested that she isn’t completely closing the door on a possible reconciliation.

During a May appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Morton was asked whether she believed she and Williams could eventually repair their friendship. Her answer suggested that, while she isn’t rushing to make amends, she’s willing to let the situation unfold naturally.

“I would like it if we can continue to keep people out of our stuff and whatever happens happens. Like I’m not going to force it. I don’t expect her to. Let’s just see what happens,” Morton said.

Drew Sidora said she’s ready to “move forward” with Shamea.

As for Drew, she’s hoping to “move forward” with Shamea. During an interview on The Big Tigger Morning Show in August, the #RHOA star made it clear she doesn’t believe the drama between them had anything to do with her and that is was misguided energy that Shamea had due to her fallout with Porsha.

She also revealed that she and Shamea have stayed in touch from time to time and are keeping things cordial.

“She’s come on my page, liked some photos I recently saw,” Drew revealed at the time. “I sent her a text, you know, sending condolences to her family on some personal things that were going on. That I won’t speak up, but I did send a text. We’re human beings at the end of the day, so I feel like there’s no issue. I’m ready to just start anew, and hopefully she’ll show up differently, more authentically. You know, I want to see the Shamea that we all have seen: very fun, very bright.”
