Pete Alonso hadn’t ever homered in the All-Star Game — until Tuesday.
The Mets slugger crushed a three-run homer the reverse method off Royals lefty Kris Bubic on Tuesday night time in Atlanta to give the National League a 5-0 lead in the backside of the sixth inning.
With runners on the corners and nobody out, Alonso, a five-time All-Star, smacked a 1-0 pitch 367 ft over the excessive wall in proper at Truist Park.
