Marcus Stroman has said his goodbyes to the Yankees.
After getting launched by the Bombers on Friday, Stroman had a one-word response on social media.
“Adios,” he wrote on his Instagram Story, which featured him flashing his watch on a aircraft.
Stroman was lower from the team on Friday after an underwhelming two years in The Bronx.
The Yankees ate $5-plus million left on his contract just to half methods with the veteran right-hander.

Last season’s American League Rookie of the Year Luis Gil is set to return from the IL and make his season debut against the Marlins on Sunday, making the struggling Stroman expendable.
The Yankees are also apparently comfy with Will Warren and rookie Cam Schlittler taking beginning rotation spots for the time being.

“Obviously, that was tough today,” supervisor Aaron Boone said Friday. “The notion around Stro, for us, did not meet the man we got to be around the last couple years. He’s an superior competitor.
“But yeah, I think it’s a case of we think Warren and Schlittler are ready to be in the rotation full-time. Just felt like with some more moves probably coming over the next few days at least, the timing was right.”

Stroman, 34, posted a 6.23 ERA across 9 begins before the franchise lower ties.
The right-hander missed about two-and-a-half months with knee irritation.
Stroman signed a two-year, $37 million contract forward of the 2024 season, and didn’t precisely make the greatest first impression, recording a 4.31 ERA in 30 video games (29 begins) in his first yr in Pinstripes.
