Taylor Swift may want to shake this one off.
Knicks level guard Tyler Kolek called out the “Patient Zero” hitmaker as the “fakest” celebrity fan for leaping on the orange and blue bandwagon during the team’s championship run this 12 months.
Kolek and teammate Deuce McBride were tasked with answering a sequence of questions during an NBA 2K TikTok livestream on Thursday when they were requested, “Who is the fakest celebrity Knicks fan?”
“At the Knicks games, I would say it’s very performative,” Kolek said. “Because they just want to be seen at the game. They’re not necessarily fans.”
But he singled out the “Bad Blood” singer as by far the largest offender.
“Maybe Taylor Swift? I don’t know if I’ve seen her at any other games,” Kolek said. “I guess she has a lot going on so she can’t come all the time. But it’s a little performative.”
McBride agreed but warned his teammate that “Swifties” wouldn’t like his reply.
“I’m going to get some hate from the Swifties,” Kolek acknowledged.
