The NFL teaching carousel is spinning at a fast tempo this January.

There are going to be 10 new head coaches employed this offseason after the Bills created the newest opening by firing Sean McDermott on Monday. Four jobs — the Giants, Falcons, Dolphins and Titans — have already been crammed — with John Harbaugh, Kevin Stefanski, Jeff Hafley and Robert Saleh, respectively.

The Jets are not altering head coaches but they are trying for a defensive coordinator, and they may want for some of the head teaching dominos to fall before they can discover their man. Some candidates are absolutely ready to see if they are going to join a new head coach or if they will exchange a coordinator leaving to be a head coach. I would think the Jets will have someone employed in the next two weeks.

The team announced its preliminary spherical of interviews on Friday. It was not the most inspiring record, which you would expect. This job is going to be a robust promote and it’s arduous to see any coach with choices selecting the Jets. The team went 3-14 last 12 months and Aaron Glenn is getting into 2026 with a great quantity of stress on him to win or he could be fired. The Jets have assets to enhance the roster, but the protection wants a close to full overhaul after buying and selling its two greatest gamers at the deadline.
