The Texas Longhorns have secured one of the high obtainable offensive weapons in the 2026 switch portal.
Former Auburn vast receiver Cam Coleman is heading to Texas to play with quarterback Arch Manning next season.
The transfer provides a confirmed playmaker to a Texas offense that underwhelmed, relative to expectations, this previous 2025 season.
Coleman, a 6-foot-3 receiver who is leaving the Auburn program and heading to Texas after just two seasons.
He selected Texas over Alabama, Texas Tech and Texas A&M, with whom he also reportedly visited.
The Longhorns’ 2025 marketing campaign saw them end 10–3, culminating in a 41-27 win over Michigan in the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl.
Texas, who ended the season ranked No. 14 in the nation, made it to the College Football Playoff in 2023 and 2024, but fell quick this season.

Manning, who threw for 3,163 yards with 26 touchdowns and seven interceptions, was extremely criticized early on in the 12 months for failing to stay up to huge expectations.
He later steadied, and now gets assist in a receiving core led by Ryan Wingo’s 54 receptions, 834 yards and seven touchdowns.

During his two seasons at Auburn, he emerged as one of the SEC’s more productive go catchers. As a sophomore in 2025, Coleman began all 12 video games and recorded 56 receptions for 708 yards and 5 touchdowns, including a career-high 143 yards and 10 catches against Vanderbilt.
He also had 37 catches for 598 yards and eight scores as a true freshman, incomes SEC All-Freshman honors.
Before faculty, Coleman was one of the nation’s most extremely touted recruits. He was a five-star prospect and rated as the No. 5 general player nationally, as properly as the No. 2 receiver in the 2024 ESPN 300 class.
