FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — Aaron Glenn was talking about next week’s Jets recreation against the winless Dolphins when he summed up life in the NFL.

“We’re going to play a good team,” Glenn said. “To me, every team in this league, I don’t care who they are, any week somebody can beat you. I think we’ve seen that throughout this league, throughout this year that any team can go out there and beat anybody.”

Glenn did not intend this when he made the remark, but it underscores how irritating it is watching Glenn’s Jets never win video games they are not expected to win. The Jets are 2-4 — precisely what you most likely thought they would be at the starting of the yr. They have crushed the Titans and Browns, groups expected to be comparable to the Jets, and lost to the Packers, Lions, Bears and Patriots, groups seen as superior to the Jets.

When is the last time the Jets shocked you with a win? 2023 against the Eagles? Since then, it’s been ho hum, play up to or down to expectations.
