Saweetie has been busy minding her business but it seems like Quavo can’t keep her off his mind.
The cute pair went their separate ways over five years ago; however, it was what happened in the aftermath that got the streets talking. The former Migos rapper made it public knowledge that he played take backs with a Bentley he gifted the “Icy” rapper after their split. The ashies of the internet got a good ki out of the moment but Saweetie seemed to understand that it was just a casualty of a relationship ending.
Plus, she later posted a Bentley that she gifted herself, making it clear that she was doing just fine. However, amid the release of his album Qrömelife, the old story has been dusted off, causing TMZ to question Saweetie about it as she was heading into the airport.
“It’s 2026, he’s still talking about that?” she questioned. “I’m happy he found God though.”
The mention in question came during an interview with Yung Miami when he was asked if he’s a person who takes back gifts, leading the Atlanta rapper to say that he does what God tells him to do.
“It depends on what God tell me to do in the situation,” he said. “Sometimes…God say get some back. You bet go get it.”
Messy, messy, messy. The two have not spoken a lot about one another in the press though there was a brief tussle between Quavo and Chris Brown that resulted in rumors that Saweetie had stepped out with the singer. However, there was never a confirmation from either side of whether or not that was true or simply men letting their emotions get the best of them. Still, Saweetie seems ready and willing to let the past be the past.
