Slow it down for a minute Pat.

Milwaukee Brewers supervisor Pat Murphy was doing a stay interview with Tom Verducci of Fox Sports in Game 3 of the NLDS against the San Diego Padres and had a sizzling mic second he’ll never overlook.

Just after Sal Frelick hit a line drive that appeared like it was going to be for additional bases, Padres heart fielder Jackson Merrill snatched that thought away.

Immediately after Murphy slipped up, the Fox broadcast crew lower him off from the interview, but left everyone in the broadcast sales space laughing, as it will seemingly go down as one of the all-time nice mid-game interviews in baseball.

For Murphy, that second was seemingly not the only time Merrill would upset him as San Diego tacked on two runs in the backside half of the inning.
